Horndon History Hunt

Throughout the Feast and Fayre weekend keep an eye out for our blue Horndon History Hunt markers. By scanning these markers with your phone you'll be able to step back into the past, and learn more about the history of our beautiful village!

What is the Horndon History Hunt?

The trail consists of 11 markers located throughout the village. Each marker contains a QR code which will take you to a special website containing a photo and some information about the location. All photos have been supplied by residents of the village, and historical information is adapted from W.M Tinworth's 1985 book 'Saffron Cider and Honey: A Town Trail of Horndon on the Hill'.

How do I access each location's website?

Just scan the QR code (blue and white rectangle made of pixels) with your mobile phone's camera and a link, or a QR code button, will appear on your screen (see photos below). Then just click this link to access the website for that location!
